Qualifications

• 40 Hour Rescue Technician (>6 months experience).
• Confined Space Entrant/Attendant Certification.
• Healthcare Provider CPR.
• First Aid with AED.
• First Responder or better preferred.
• Haz-Woper.
• 4 Gas Monitor Operation Training.
• Familiar with OSHA Atmosphere Limitation.
• Proficiency in Rescue Operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical rescue standby for projects including confined space rescue and rope rescue, and performs first aid as needed.
• Assists in assessing risks, readying rescue equipment, and planning practical safety solutions for compliant operations.
• Conducts on-site monitoring, reports observations to supervisor, and maintains readiness of equipment and PPE.
• Completes daily ICS/Incident Command System reports and documents rescue activities.
• Renders first aid and CPR to the level of training and coordinates with EMS for medical transport.
