Job summary

Total Safety U.S., Inc. is seeking a Rescue Technician to provide standby rescue for client projects, including confined space rescue, technical rope rescue, and first aid/CPR.

You will assess hazards, ready equipment, and plan safe, compliant solutions to protect workers. Requirements include 2 years of relevant rescue experience, confinement/space certifications, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to inspect and maintain rescue gear.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant rescue experience required.
• Confined Space Entrant/Attendant and Healthcare Provider CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.
• Ability to inspect, clean and maintain rescue equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hazard assessment and preplanning for rescues.
• Conduct daily job briefings with customers and workers.
• Perform ongoing monitoring of conditions and equipment.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid/CPR as trained and hand over to EMS.
• Maintain and inventory rescue equipment.
