Landmark Management Services, Inc. is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to support three hospitals in a hybrid role based in Baton Rouge. The position combines remote and on-site tasks, averaging around 24 hours per week with potential for up to 30 hours.

The core duties include verifying credentials, maintaining records, researching regulations, and ensuring compliance with government and accrediting bodies. Strong communication and independence are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma.
• At least 1 year of physician credentialing experience (3 years preferred).
• CPCS certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Verify healthcare professionals' credentials to ensure current regulatory standards.
• Maintain licensing, credentials, and insurance records.
• Research updated state and federal regulations and policies.
• Release information to agencies when required by law.
• Develop internal credentialing processes and train staff.
• Monitor license and credential expiration dates and alert staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies.
• Track items, follow up, and meet deadlines.
• Communicate with physicians and their offices; build relationships.
• Work independently and in a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
