Local Infusion is a respectful, upbeat, remote-first team united by our mission to reshape infusion care. We seek a Pennsylvania-licensed Nurse Practitioner for an outpatient infusion center on a hybrid basis, with potential move to full-time onsite infusions.

The role focuses on clinical oversight and IV therapy, collaborating with providers to ensure safe, effective care while maintaining high-quality patient communication and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted PA NP license (PA; NJ a plus).
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate clinical experience as an NP.
• Minimum 2 years in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment; IV therapy experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infusions or injections per protocols.
• Communicate with patients about scheduling, symptoms, inquiries.
• Coordinate with providers for order clarification and care plan.
• Resolve clinical escalations per policies.
• Prescribe select medications per protocols and policies.
• Order and maintain medical inventory and supplies.

Role Overview: Infusion Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) who is licensed in Pennsylvania to join our outpatient infusion center team. This is a hybrid role, dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through a combination of hands‑on infusion services and clinical oversight functions. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and operational excellence.

Location/Schedule: Remote + part-time, seeking NPs who would like to move into a full time role, onsite and infusing (hybrid) in the future

• Candidates w/ NJ and PA license preferred - or willing to begin licensure upon hire/onboarding

Key Accountabilities

• Clinical Quality
• Regulatory Clinical Compliance

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and guidelines
• Ensure effective communication with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.)
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure effective delivery of care through order clarification, patient status, and plan of care communication
• Resolve clinical escalations, in accordance with policies and procedures
• Prescribe select medication in accordance with patient needs and clinical protocols, evidence-based standards, and organizational policies
• Order and maintain medical inventory and supplies

Quality & Compliance Responsibilities

• Onboard new Medicare patients, completing establishment calls and documentation
• Ensure clinical quality & compliance across region through clinical supervision and oversight, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania (PA + NJ = a plus!)
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment, experience in IV therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
