Job summary

Local Infusion in the United States is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient infusion center on a remote-first, hybrid schedule. This role focuses on delivering infusions and clinical oversight with emphasis on patient safety and care quality.

The ideal candidate holds PA licensure (PA, NJ a plus), has 1+ year post-grad NP experience, 2+ years in outpatient or infusion settings, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP license in Pennsylvania (PA).
• At least 1 year post-graduate NP experience.
• At least 2 years in outpatient or infusion care.
• Strong clinical judgment; IV therapy experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infusions or injections per protocols.
• Communicate with patients about scheduling, symptoms, inquiries.
• Coordinate with referring providers for orders and care plans.
• Resolve clinical escalations per policies.
• Prescribe select medications per protocols.
• Order and maintain medical inventory and supplies.
• Onboard new Medicare patients with establishment calls and documentation.
• Ensure regional clinical quality and compliance through supervision and chart audits.

Role Overview: Infusion Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) who is licensed in Pennsylvania to join our outpatient infusion center team. This is a hybrid role, dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through a combination of hands-on infusion services and clinical oversight functions. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and operational excellence.

Location/Schedule

Remote + part-time, seeking NPs who would like to move into a full time role, onsite and infusing (hybrid) in the future

• Candidates w/ NJ and PA license preferred - or willing to begin licensure upon hire/onboarding

Key Accountabilities

• Regulatory Clinical Compliance

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and guidelines
• Ensure effective communication with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.)
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure effective delivery of care through order clarification, patient status, and plan of care communication
• Resolve clinical escalations, in accordance with policies and procedures
• Prescribe select medication in accordance with patient needs and clinical protocols, evidence-based standards, and organizational policies
• Order and maintain medical inventory and supplies

Quality & Compliance Responsibilities

• Onboard new Medicare patients, completing establishment calls and documentation
• Ensure clinical quality & compliance across region through clinical supervision and oversight, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania (PA + NJ = a plus!)
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment, experience in IV therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
