Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a licensed mental health therapist in Arizona to provide child, teen, and family therapy remotely. This clinician-led, minority-owned organization offers flexible part-time schedules, monthly bonuses, and a path toward leadership as the Arizona program grows.

Work from home with a target caseload of 15–22 sessions per week via telehealth, mainly weekday afternoons/evenings. Arizona license required; bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona license: LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting clinical assessments.
• Developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Providing individual and family therapy through secure telehealth.
• Collaborating with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other members of our interdisciplinary team.
• Providing family education and care coordination.
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Building meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Delivering culturally responsive care that recognizes each family's needs.
