Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is expanding into Arizona and seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for a part-time, fully remote role serving children, teens, and families via telehealth. Arizona license (LPC/LMFT/LCSW) required; compensation is $55 per billable hour with monthly bonus potential.

You’ll work 15–22 sessions weekly, mostly 2–9 PM, with referrals and admin support provided. This is an opportunity to build the Arizona program and grow toward mentorship and leadership as the team expands.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona license: LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families or strong interest.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Comfort with technology and virtual clinical platforms.
• Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting clinical assessments.
• Developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Providing individual and family therapy through secure telehealth.
• Collaborating with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other team members.
• Providing family education and care coordination.
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Building meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Delivering culturally responsive care that recognizes each family's unique needs.
