Job summary

Summer Search is seeking a National Development Manager to join the institutional development team. You will lead efforts to acquire and engage corporate and foundation partners, qualify a robust pipeline, and craft proposals and materials to support ambitious goals.

This role offers exposure to cross-site collaboration across San Francisco Bay Area, NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, and Seattle, and a front-row seat to all aspects of national fund development.

• Craft proposals and other materials to support fundraising goals.
• Liaise with staff across the Summer Search network.
• Help ensure the institutional team meets ambitious fundraising goals.

ABOUT THE POSITION

At a time of growth and experimentation, Summer Search is seeking a National Development Manager to play a critical role on the institutional development team. This position will support the acquisition and engagement of new corporate and foundation partners, with responsibilities in qualifying a robust pipeline, crafting proposals and other materials, liaising with staff across the Summer Search network, and ensuring the institutional team stays on track to meet its ambitious goals. This is a great opportunity for an emerging development leader to gain a front-row seat to all aspects institutional fund development at a national, multi-site organization.
