Job summary

Busey is seeking a Relationship Banker to blend teller responsibilities with relationship-building to deliver personalized service and cross-sell banking products. The role includes opening and maintaining accounts, facilitating online banking, and handling routine to complex banking needs for customers in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are 25–29 per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 8:45am–5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am–12:00).

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Previous banking and/or sales experience required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred.
NMLS registration may be required for lending-related roles.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Identify customer needs and offer solutions through the bank's products and services.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized service.
Resolve customer concerns and issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Promote and cross-sell bank products.
Open and manage a variety of accounts; assist with maintenance tasks.
Provide support for online banking and digital tools.
Refer clients with credit needs to the appropriate banker.
Process transactions accurately and balance cash drawer at shift end.
Monitor for potential fraud or suspicious activity and follow procedures.
