Job summary

AdviniaCare Newton-Wellesley in Wellesley, MA seeks a Part-time Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide dedicated nutrition services to residents and patients. You will perform assessments, document per state and federal regs, and oversee food service in the facility kitchen as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered dietitian credentialed by the CDR.
• Must maintain current licensure as a Registered Dietitian in MA.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
• ServSafe or similar food safety certification preferred.
• Must maintain registrations/licensure/CE credits as needed to maintain employment.
• Knowledge of food production, meal quality, textures in dining programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and documentation per state and federal regulations.
• Provide nutrition expertise and food service oversight to facility kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized nutrition plans.
• Evaluate meal quality, dining programs, and texture-modified diet preparation.
• Ensure compliance with dietary regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of nutrition care for residents/patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
