Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to support North Woods Village. The RD will assess residents’ nutritional status and collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans, while engaging residents, families, and staff in nutrition decisions.

The role emphasizes interprofessional collaboration, ongoing nutrition assessments, and monitoring to ensure residents receive appropriate meals and nutrition support, with potential for remote work

Qualifications

Must have and maintain current dietitian registration from the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
Must hold a current certification and/or license in the state(s) in which they are practicing.

Responsibilities

Uses clinical knowledge to perform assessments and identify nutrition needs.
Interviews residents, family members, legal representatives to develop individualized plans of care.
Works cooperatively with interdisciplinary and clinical teams.
Conducts regular meal observations to ensure proper food delivery and nutritional parameters.
