Job summary

Chapel Hill Nursing Center is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to plan, develop, and direct the nutritional care for residents. You will assess dietary needs and contribute to individualized care plans in collaboration with the medical team.

The role includes assisting with menu development and creating standardized recipes with therapeutic adjustments to support resident health and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, or similar field.
• A Registered Dietitian in MD.
• LTC/SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses nutritional needs of residents from diet history, laboratory reports, physician diagnosis, and interviews with residents/families/staff.
• Monitors and participates in resident care plan meetings; documents dietary interventions.
• Assist with development of menus and writing of standardized recipes with therapeutic modifications.
