Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team near West Monroe, LA. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, implementing interventions, and improving residents' quality of life at Franklin Medical Center and Richardson Medical Center.

Weeklies 8–12 hours per week onsite. Qualified candidates will hold relevant nutrition degrees, pass the CDR exam or be eligible, and meet state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in nutrition or related field.
• Passed the national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and improvement of quality assurance programs.
