Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian in Punxsutawney, PA. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, implement interventions, and collaborate with the care team to improve quality of life. This clinical role supports inpatient and outpatient care within the facility.

Requirements include a nutrition degree, licensure, and ongoing CE. Excellent teaching skills and knowledge of regulatory standards are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition completed.
• CDR national exam completed or eligible per Academy standards.
• 75 hours CE every five years as required.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow Academy standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Work with dining services to set up procedures and policies.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
