Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, implement interventions, and support quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Typical schedule is 24 hours per week. You will adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, collaborate with other departments, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement within the dining and nutrition programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition is required (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field is required.
• Must have passed a national exam by the CDR or meet eligibility requirements.
• Completes continuing education hours every five years per CDR guidelines.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Actively participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
