Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Franklin Medical Center and Richardson Medical Center near West Monroe, LA. The position is 8-12 hours per week, onsite, focused on assessing nutritional needs and developing care plans to support residents' wellbeing.

You'll work with the healthcare team, follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in developing, reviewing, and improving quality improvement programs.
