Job summary

HHS is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the culinary team at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Winchester, in Winchester, TN. You will assess nutritional needs for inpatient and outpatient care, guide patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to support quality care.

This role offers an hourly rate of $30 with an 8-hour weekly schedule and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive environment focused on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards; computer skills for word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions using evidence-based practices for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs.
• Document assessments and nutritional goals in the medical record; communicate with physicians and clinical staff.
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements; attend patient rounds to support regulatory compliance.
