Job summary

HHS is hiring a Registered Dietitian for Mercy Health Fairfield Hospital in Fairfield, OH. The role involves guiding patients and care teams on medical nutrition therapy, with a focus on quality care and patient satisfaction.

32 hours per week, starting rate $30/hour, eligible for full benefits. Responsibilities include completing nutritional assessments, providing interventions, educating staff and patients, documenting care plans, and coordinating therapeutic diets with physicians.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and state licensure as required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and clinical nutrition practices.
• Computer proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments for inpatient and outpatient care and provide interventions.
• Educate patients, families, nursing staff, and food service on nutritional needs.
• Document assessments and care plans in the medical record.
• Communicate nutritional status with physicians and clinical staff.
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Attend patient rounds and support regulatory compliance.
