Job summary

Alliance Health Center in Meridian, MS is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to guide patients, families and facility staff on medical nutrition therapy, and to collaborate with physicians and nursing to support patient satisfaction and quality care.

This on-site role offers 16 hours per week with a starting rate of 35.00 USD per hour and a 1099 contract option; responsibilities include nutrition assessments, follow-ups, menu reviews, patient rounds, and staff education under the Clinical

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensure as required by state regulations.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and proficiency with common office software.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutrition assessments and follow-ups per facility policies.
• Educate patients and families on nutritional needs as indicated.
• Attend patient rounds on assigned floors.
• Review and approve menus, formularies, substitutions, or changes.
• Participate in patient satisfaction programs and quality-improvement efforts.
