Job summary

Platinum Dental is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. Schedule: Tue/Wed, 7:15 AM – 5:00 PM, with opportunities for full-time roles in the future. We value patient-centered care and offer a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active RDH license in the state of practice (Colorado).
• Strong clinical skills in preventive and periodontal care.
• Excellent communication with patients and team members.
• Ability to educate patients on oral health and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including preventive and periodontal services within your scope of practice.
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling and root planing, and other approved hygiene procedures.
• Assess patients' oral health and identify signs of periodontal disease and other concerns.
• Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and personalized treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with dentists and clinical team members to develop patient care plans.
• Build strong patient relationships through clear communication and compassion.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Stay current with dental hygiene techniques and technology.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Dental Hygienist at Platinum Dental, you'll play an essential role in helping patients maintain healthy smiles while building lasting relationships through education, prevention, and personalized care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including preventive and periodontal services within your scope of practice

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling and root planing, and other authorized hygiene procedures

• Assess patients' oral health and identify signs of periodontal disease and other dental concerns

• Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate clinical documentation

• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and personalized treatment recommendations

• Collaborate with dentists and clinical team members to develop and support comprehensive patient care plans

• Build strong patient relationships through clear communication, compassion, and trust

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment while following infection control protocols

• Stay current with dental hygiene techniques, technology, and best practices

• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional patient experiences

What We're Looking For

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of practice, or eligibility for licensure before starting
