Job summary

Platinum Dental is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a supportive team focused on patient care and clinical autonomy. This role offers a schedule that fits personal priorities and opportunities for professional growth.

You’ll perform preventive and periodontal hygiene, educate patients, and collaborate with dentists to deliver high-quality care in a friendly, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active RDH license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure before starting.
• Strong clinical and patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to educate patients and build trusting, long-term relationships.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including preventive and periodontal services within your scope of practice.
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling and root planing, and other approved hygiene procedures.
• Assess patients' oral health and identify signs of periodontal disease and other dental concerns.
• Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and personalized treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with dentists and clinical team to develop and support care plans.
• Build strong patient relationships through clear communication and compassion.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment; follow infection control protocols.

• Tuesday: 6:40 AM – 7:00 PM

• Thursday: 6:40 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday: 8:40 AM – 6:00 PM

What You'll Do

As a Registered Dental Hygienist at Platinum Dental, you'll play an essential role in helping patients maintain healthy smiles while building lasting relationships through education, prevention, and personalized care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including preventive and periodontal services within your scope of practice
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling and root planing, and other authorized hygiene procedures
• Assess patients' oral health and identify signs of periodontal disease and other dental concerns
• Take dental X‑rays and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and personalized treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with dentists and clinical team members to develop and support comprehensive patient care plans
• Build strong patient relationships through clear communication, compassion, and trust
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment while following infection control protocols
• Stay current with dental hygiene techniques, technology, and best practices
• Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented environment focused on exceptional patient experiences
