Job summary

The Salvation Army Omaha Kroc Center is seeking energetic, relationship-oriented individuals to join our team as Recreation & Sports Attendants. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, with accurate check-in/check-out documentation across recreation and sports areas.

Responsibilities include engaging guests, promoting hospitality, assisting with coaching and events, and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

English proficiency required; Spanish language skills helpful.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Excellent flexibility and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Collaborative team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Proactively engage with guests to provide an excellent experience in the program area.
Promote customer hospitality and ensure events are well attended.
Maintain cleanliness, equipment support and inventory for the assigned program area.
Follow TSA emergency procedures and document accordingly.
Keep general and department safety knowledge up to date.
Enforce center rules with courtesy and clarity.
Assist Recreation & Sports Specialists with coaching, officiating, and other tasks.
Provide summarized reports to management as required.
Participate in community events to promote center usage.
Cover Health & Fitness and Aquatics areas as assigned.
Perform other duties as needed.
