Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a part-time Yoga Instructor at our Salisbury, MD location. You will develop and lead group yoga sessions,Model poses, breathing and mindfulness, and foster a therapeutic atmosphere aligned with recovery goals.

Responsibilities include documenting sessions, tracking client progress, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure coordinated care. A valid yoga instructor certification and strong interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid yoga instructor certification expected.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct group yoga sessions and model positions, breathing, stretches, and mindfulness techniques.
• Create an engaging, therapeutic atmosphere conducive to recovery skills development.
• Encourage clients to engage, cultivating mindfulness and self-love, awareness, and control.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to track client progress and coordinate care.
• Maintain complete documentation of all sessions and client progress.
