Pine Rest in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Part-time Peer Support Specialist/Recovery Coach at Adams Park to bring lived experience into our treatment teams in residential and outpatient settings. You will mentor clients, support self-advocacy, and assist with recovery planning, documenting interactions in the electronic medical record and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at a minimum, a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months post high school education in behavioral sciences may be preferred.
• Life experience that allows individuals to identify self as peer and/or coach.
• Current certification as a Certified Peer Support Specialist and/or Recovery Coach or ability to obtain Michigan Peer Support Specialist Certification once hired may be required.
• Some programs may require the candidate to have been served by the public mental health system.

Responsabilités

• Provide peer support and coaching to individuals in residential and outpatient settings.
• Lead group programming and participate in clinical meetings.
• Document interactions in the electronic medical record.
• Support recovery planning and self-advocacy for individuals in care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to promote recovery and wellness.
