The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a Receptionist to support the Corps Officers, staff, and visitors by managing the front office and ensuring the mission is carried out effectively.
You will greet clients, answer messages, coordinate Social Services appointments, maintain records, and assist with donor communications and community collaborations. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Salary Range Starting At: $15.00/ per hour
As the Receptionist you will provide support to the Corps Officers, other employees, and office visitors by handling a variety of tasks and managing the front office in order to ensure that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out.
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: At least one year of record keeping is preferred, along with one year of hospitality experience.
Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background checks results will be reviewed.
Certifications: Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver’s qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm within the first 30 days of employment.
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Travel will be limited, primarily occurring within the service area of the assigned Corps Community Center(s).
