Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Jessup, PA, is seeking a Receiving Lead for our 1225 Mid Valley Dr location. This part-time role (up to 28 hours/week) will oversee day-to-day Receiving operations, verify arriving inventory, and prepare products for transfer to the next stage.

You will train staff, enforce safety and sustainability practices, and ensure accurate handling of goods. The position requires a proven ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution or with Fastenal.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Lift, slide, carry 25–50 lbs and up to 100 lbs as needed.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work extra time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train team members in Receiving.
• Communicate with employees and branches.
• Unload product and inspect for quality/accuracy.
• Weigh product using a scale and ensure proper handling.
• Maintain clean, organized work area; follow safety rules.
• Participate in health, safety and sustainability trainings.
