Palm Beach State College Lake Worth Campus is seeking a part-time Temporary Tutor in Reading/Writing to support students with coursework, study strategies, and academic skills development in in-person and virtual tutoring sessions.

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, willingness to communicate in Spanish when needed, and a focus on customer service while adhering to college policies. Base pay starts at $16.51 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English and Spanish.
• Experience delivering tutoring and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts tutoring sessions with individual or multiple students in person and virtual environments.
• Provides feedback and suggestions on student assignments.
• Creates an engaging learning environment and supports student confidence.
