Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct tutoring sessions with individual or multiple students in person and virtual environments.
• Provide constructive feedback and suggestions on student assignments.
• Create an engaging learning environment and enhance student confidence and interest in learning.
• Maintain an awareness of current college and department policies and guidelines.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High‑school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar application.
• Content expertise within the tutoring discipline.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to convey knowledge in a practical and comprehensive manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• In‑person and remote tutoring experience.

Work Environment and Physical Demand

Reach and grasp objects, use video display terminal, manual dexterity and fine motor skills, identify colors, communicate orally and in writing, proofread documents, operate a motor vehicle, work a fluctuating schedule.

Compensation

Base pay: $16.51 per hour. Offer amount based on college salary schedule guidelines.
