Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus one of: Associate’s degree or 60 college credits; or passing AZ Paraprofessional Exam.
• Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
• Possess or obtain AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card within 45 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Complies with HIPAA and FERPA confidentiality requirements.
• Develops positive relations with students, parents, staff and the public.
• Assists with instruction in a classroom for/with students.
• Supervises students when assigned.
• Assists in school activities and field trips.
• Performs clerical duties.
• Works collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Assists with playground, cafeteria and bus duty as assigned.
