Job summary

Rim Country Middle School in Payson, Arizona is seeking a SPED paraprofessional to support students with special needs under a teacher or administrator. You will assist with instruction, supervise students, and help with daily activities in various settings.

Qualifications include one of: HS diploma/GED plus Associate’s degree or higher, 60 college credits at 100 level or higher, or passing AZ Paraprofessional Exam; CPR/First Aid; IVP fingerprint clearance; immediate starting date; full-time

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and an Associate’s Degree or higher.
Sixty college credits at the 100 level or above.
Passing AZ Paraprofessional Exam.
Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
Ability to obtain IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card within 45 days.

Responsibilities

Complies with confidentiality requirements (HIPAA/FERPA).
Develops positive relations with students, parents, staff and the public.
Assists with instruction in a classroom for/with special education students.
Supervises students when assigned; assists in school activities and field trips.
Performs clerical duties and works with teachers and staff.
