Job summary

Motlow State Community College is seeking adjunct Reading Learning Support Faculty to teach courses across multiple campuses, including dual enrollment classes at area high schools. The pool position requires delivering high-quality instruction aligned with catalog descriptions and approved syllabi.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in discipline or equivalent with regional accreditation. Preferred candidates hold a doctoral degree and CC teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in discipline or a qualifying field earned from a regionally accredited institution by the application date.
• Master's degree in any field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in discipline or a qualifying field earned from a regionally accredited college or university by the application date.
• Doctoral degree and three years CC teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned in accordance with catalog descriptions and syllabi; teach dual enrollment classes at area high schools; travel to multiple campuses.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curricular and programmatic issues.
• Support students and activities in line with the college’s strategic goals.
• Stay current with developments in the teaching discipline and update instruction accordingly.
• Maintain availability to communicate with and meet students regarding coursework.
