Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Education or Reading.
• Public school teaching experience (minimum 5 years).
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Letterland and Language for Learning Intervention training.
• Teach evidence-based reading and writing strategies to staff and students.
• Model evidence-based reading and writing strategies for staff members.
• Observe and provide feedback to teachers and assistants regarding intervention strategies.
• Work with EC Program Coach to identify appropriate intervention times and groups.
• Progress monitor students in intervention groups.
• Provide progress monitoring data monthly to supervisor.
• Collaborate with EC Program Coach to identify evidence-based interventions for students.
• Lead intervention groups as appropriate.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
