Job summary

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for Lincoln, NE. This part-time role offers ~3 hours per week with three weekday afternoons, from 5:00pm–6:00pm, in-home sessions. You will deliver 97153 direct therapy under a BCBA-written plan, with supervision and guidance.

The position emphasizes flexibility, advocacy for autistic youth, and a clear path for growth within Step Ahead ABA. Pay is $22–$23 per hour billable, with supportive supervision and opportunities to expand

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification with the BACB. Not certified yet? Step Ahead offers complimentary support to get there — see our Behavior Technician posting.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior ABA experience
• Availability three weekday afternoons within 5:00pm–6:00pm

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA who assessed the client.
• Your BCBA is assigned before you start. You get the plan, an introduction, and the family's care manager as support.
• Supervision is supportive. Your Step Ahead BCBA provides competency assessments, observation, and feedback you can use.
• You collect session data and submit notes for the work you do. Non-billable time is paid, and the rate is below.
• Our BCBAs and clinical directors are experienced and here to support you.
