Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Ramp Agent in Burlington, VT for a part-time, outdoor airport role. You will assist with baggage handling and aircraft servicing, operate ground support equipment, and help guide aircraft on the ramp.

Must complete Ramp Agent training, be able to work in varied weather, and demonstrate teamwork and strong communication. Weekends, nights, and holidays are included in shifts. Starting pay is $18.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills and ability to meet customer expectations in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Able to organize, prioritize, and multitask while loading/unloading baggage and servicing aircraft.
• Previous airline or front-line customer service experience is preferred.
• Proof of high school or GED completion and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage and cargo for aircraft.
• Assist in servicing aircraft and operating ground equipment in outdoor airport conditions.
• Provide excellent customer service and support along with team members.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Ramp Agent training.
