Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians. The role requires adherence to ALARA principles, infection prevention, and strong RIS/PACS knowledge.

You will document examinations, ensure patient comfort, and maintain quality standards while supporting a team-focused environment at Advocate Health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification or eligible; must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• IEMA accreditation in Radiologic Technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by a physician.
• Document diagnostic procedures with proper technical parameters for quality studies.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and infection prevention guidelines.
• Maintain patient history, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation in RIS/HIS systems.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and inventory; restock supplies as needed.
