Job summary

Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic exams and support emergency and routine imaging services. The role requires attention to safety, accurate positioning, and teamwork with radiologists and nurses.

Work weeks are 20 hours, Monday through Friday, with on-site shifts and potential for weekend coverage. Candidates must be ARRT eligible, hold ROM IEMA accreditation, CPR certified, and communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certificate with 10 years of experience or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• IEMA accreditation in medical radiation technology and ARRT eligible with registration within 3 months, CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as directed by a physician.
• Operates Digital Imaging System components and maintains image quality.
• Assists radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and trauma imaging.
• Prepares patients, explains procedures, and ensures comfort.
• Ensures equipment cleanliness and proper inventory of supplies.
• Adheres to radiation safety procedures and isolation protocols.
