Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to operate advanced fluoroscopy equipment, review image quality, and support education for student technologists. The role includes on-site work, handling rotating weekends, and contributing to safe, ethical patient care.

You will assist radiologists and contribute to protocol development while maintaining patient records and proficiency with PACS and specialized imaging equipment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within one (1) year as a condition of continued employment in this job classification.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of advanced fluoroscopy equipment to produce special radiographic images.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure correct PACS flow; maintain patient records; orient new technologists; operate TIMS, Trident, and Cysto equipment.
• Provide education and training for student technologists and assist physicians in developing new protocols and techniques.
