Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Part-Time Radiology Aide I at our Weymouth, MA site. You will provide excellent customer service, answer phones, schedule and manage appointments, and conduct outreach for radiology referrals while coordinating with technologists and patients.

You must have a High School Diploma, 6+ months of healthcare or customer service experience, and basic computer skills. This role offers weekend/evening hours, and training to support HIPAA-compliant workflow in the

High School Diploma or GED required.
6+ months of customer service or healthcare experience.
Basic level of proficiency with computer applications.

Responsibilities

Helps manage patient flow, access, and scheduling for technologists to optimize appointment availability.
Schedules appointments for patients and optimizes availability.
Assists patients with referrals and communicates with other departments; conducts outreach for follow-up appointments.
Verifies patient insurance coverage and demographics; handles appointment reminders.
Performs outreach for open referrals and coordinates scheduling per department guidelines.
Assists in the communication of results to outside providers by routing per department protocol.
Maintains waiting room order and provides training support to new staff.
Ensures PHI privacy and HIPAA compliance in all duties.
