Job summary

Boston Medical Center, based in Boston, MA, seeks a Radiology Tech Aide to support radiologists, technologists and nurses in technical and patient care duties. You will maintain supplies, prepare exam rooms, and assist patients before procedures while handling reception and clerical tasks.

The position is part-time (Sat and Sun 7a–11:30p) across the E. Newton and Shapiro Campuses, with a competitive compensation range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires high school level reading, writing (in English) and arithmetic to understand written and oral instructions and deal effectively with people.
• On-the-job training of 1–3 months is typical for this role.
• Preference for medical terminology and basic patient care courses.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists, technologists and nurses in technical and patient care duties.
• Maintain supplies and keep exam rooms prepared and ready for patients.
• Assist patients prior to procedures and handle reception and clerical duties as required.
• Duties may be required at E. Newton or Shapiro Campuses.
