Schedule is Thursday and Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. Required credentials include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, NYS licensure, ARRT certification, and strong communication and patient-service skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school in radiologic technology.
• Unrestricted NYS Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT Certification.
• 1-2 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• CPR/BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document an appropriate patient history containing pertinent information regarding their condition and including patient limitations;
• Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education;
• Select and operate equipment; recognize essential condition for successful completion of procedure;
• Perform Medical Assistant duties when required such as cast removal, stitches and staple removal, dressing changes and other patient needs;
• Assisting physician in patient care as requested;
• Other responsibilities as needed.
