Job summary

Houston City College (HCC) is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Radiation Therapy to teach part-time across campuses. The incumbent will develop syllabi, deliver coursework, and use diverse teaching methods to engage students and support success in the program.

Responsibilities include advising, workload management, and participation in department activities while maintaining records and aligning with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to teach clinical courses at HCC's affiliate sites by meeting any requirements for entry set by the affiliate sites.
• 3 years of recent directly related industry experience required.
• Portfolio option: Associate degree or higher in another field plus 3 years of related experience required.
• AART certification for Radiation Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses and laboratories following college guidelines and develop syllabi.
• Plan and use varied teaching methods to meet course objectives and students' diverse backgrounds.
• Evaluate students and inform them of progress in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate student records and submit related reports on time.
• Develop LMS shells for assigned courses and utilize educational technology.
• Participate in department, division, and college activities as a part-time instructor.
