Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Services or Behavioral Sciences required.
• Minimum of three (3) years in the field of human services or related area required.
• Ability to teach day or evening classes at a number of sites around the city.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students in a learning-centered environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and diverse instructional technologies.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses related to human services, chemical dependency and clinical counseling.
• Develop and use a syllabus for each course and submit to chair.
• Plan, develop, and use varied teaching methods to meet objectives.
• Provide academic advising and maintain student records as required.
• Participate in institutional service activities and college committees.
