Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln is looking for a motivated Quick Lane Technician to join our busy service team in Sioux Falls, SD. Training is provided on the job, and prior automotive experience is not required. This is a great steppingstone toward a long-term automotive career.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Outstanding communication skills - verbal and written.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Drain oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replenishing as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and rotate tires.
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Maintain accountability for dealership-owned tools and manuals; return them to the proper place.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to Manager.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.

Quick Lane Technician Job Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Drain oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil
• Replace oil and air filters
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary
• Check tire pressure
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
• Rotate tires
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals - returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to Manager
