Job summary

Frogslayer, an AI & Automation integrator, is seeking a part-time QA engineer early in their career in Bryan/College Station, TX. You will work with a senior QA, gain structured mentorship, and progressively own testing tasks across web and mobile apps.

Responsibilities include writing test cases, executing tests, documenting defects with clear steps, and contributing to automated testing efforts using Claude Code with Playwright. This is a growth role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, or related field.
• Awareness of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum concepts.
• Proven interest in AI-assisted test automation, including Claude Code with Playwright.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear written communication.
• Must be local to the Bryan/College Station, TX area.
• Schedule supports 20 to 29 hours per week, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute detailed test cases and contribute to test plans for core user flows and edge cases.
• Perform functional, exploratory, and cross-browser/device testing on web and mobile apps.
• Support regression testing and release validation to ensure quality before releases.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to reproduce, isolate, and document defects with precise steps and evidence.
• Maintain QA documentation: test cases, regression suites, data, and release validation summaries.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to embed QA throughout the development lifecycle.
