Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Boone NC is seeking a part-time Public Areas cleaner. The role focuses on welcoming guests, maintaining cleanliness in public areas, and upholding Hilton standards. Shifts are morning/first shift with small teams, and the hotel offers employee discounts and benefits after probation.

Applicants should be at least 16 years old and able to pass a drug test and background check. Previous hospitality experience is a plus.

Job description

We are currently looking to fill a position for our Public Area's cleaning department.

• This position reports directly to our Chief Engineer.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Previous experience a plus. Candidates should display positive work habits, flexibility, and a friendly hospitality oriented personality.
