Chesterton Manor Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Chesterton, IN. You will help residents improve strength, mobility, and independence under a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Must have active Indiana PTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current BLS certification and ability to work with a rehab team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide hands-on interventions to improve residents' strength, mobility, balance, and independence.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and care team.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams to support resident outcomes.
