Job summary

El Camino Health Los Gatos is seeking a Part Time/Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in restoring function and improving mobility. The PTA administers interventions, assists with mobility and exercises, and helps monitor patient progress in a collaborative, patient-focused setting.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate’s PTA degree, hold a current PTA license in the state of practice, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a PTA program.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.
