Job summary

Kilgore College is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor to support the Medical Assistant program by delivering instruction and hands-on training. You will assist the primary instructor with demonstrations, supervise clinical skill practice, assess students, and provide instructional support to create a safe and professional learning environment.

Qualifications

• CCMA credential or equivalent required.
• Experience in medical assisting.
• Teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred.
• Proficiency in clinical and administrative procedures relevant to medical assisting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and student-support skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the primary instructor with classroom instruction, demonstrations, review sessions, and guided learning activities.
• Assist with demonstrations and supervised practice of medical assisting skills, including vital signs, EKGs, injections, laboratory procedures.
• Assist with quizzes, examinations, practical assessments, skills check-offs, and other evaluations as directed by the primary instructor.
