Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a flexible part-time or PRN opportunity at Autumn Lake at Long View in Manchester, MD. Provide hands-on therapy under licensed PT to help residents improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.

You will work with a collaborative rehabilitation team, carry out treatment plans, monitor progress, educate residents and caregivers, and complete timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance, and mobility.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident goals.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
