Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our clinician-led team in a Senior Living and Assisted Living setting. The role offers about 18 hours per week with a schedule of 6 hours on three days, and compensation of $30-$35 per hour.

You'll assist PTs with patient care, document progress, and participate in education for patients and families. A PTA degree and state licensure eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state PTA licensure or licensure eligibility.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Document patient progress and report observations to the Physical Therapist; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with therapists and staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
